Terms and Conditions

Members of UKAST are bound by the appropriate terms and conditions for their category of membership as detailed below:

UKAST Tipster/Platform Certification-

As part of the agreement to be certified as a UKAST member, the service warrants that they will-

a)         Provide open and honest information about the service(s) offered, including but not limited to:

  1. Clear information as to how reported headline profits have been calculated e.g.

                                    £2,500 profit in the last 30 days!*

                                    * Based on £50 per point stakes at advised prices.

                                    120-points profit since January!*

                                    * - Average stakes are 3.1 points per selection and use best odds guaranteed (BOG) bookmakers only.

  • Access to full historic results. From the date of joining UKAST all results are to be proofed to an approved independent body such as Racing Index or a review site accredited by UKAST.
  • Accurate information on return on investment, strike rates, average stakes (where it is not a flat staking system) and average odds.
  • Realistic betting bank requirement based on risk and staking plan.

b)         Send all daily tip advices via email to UKAST at the same time as they are sent to service members

c)         Respond to any subscriber question/complaint within 24 hours (excluding weekends and Bank Holidays)

d)         Ensure all marketing material includes clear and accurate information on subscription levels and past results

e)         Offer simple staking plans that will facilitate cross service comparisons. Where a flat staking plan is used then this should be set at one-point per selection to avoid artificially enhancing headline results

f)          Accept referral of any unresolved disputes to the Association who will adjudicate and offer a resolution

g)         Respond to information requests from the Association within an agreed time

h)         Advise UKAST of any changes in subscription fees or other pertinent information for potential members

i)          Pay the current membership subscriptions to UKAST as it becomes due. There are no part-month options available and if the service ceases during the month the fee is non-refundable

j)          Accept discount vouchers issued to new UKAST Consumer Members. These will be capped at a maximum of 25% and three months. Additional discount promotions will be offered to members at various times and limited to one-month discount at up to 50%.

Failure to meet any of these requirements may result in the removal of the UKAST certification and membership may be terminated with immediate effect. In the event of any breach of the foregoing the member will have the right to provide UKAST with a written explanation for non-compliance and the Association will assess each case on the facts provided.

UKAST pledges to carry out duties to help enhance the reputation of the member service and the tipping industry in general. These duties include-

  1. Maintain a searchable database of members that is free to access to the public
  • Actively monitor and review the results, advertising, customer service and general conduct of member services, including:
    • Spot checks of daily tips for availability of advised prices
    • Periodic audits of results on the service’s website to the daily advices received by UKAST
    • Random sampling of daily winners for correct treatment of Rule 4 deductions and application of BOG (best odds guaranteed) if used by the service
  • Keep the member page for the service up to date, making sure that accurate information is provided
  • Provide a UKAST certification badge with unique member number for display on websites and marketing material and add the member’s details to the database of certified members
  • Consult with appropriate government and other bodies as appropriate to protect the interests of members
  • Provide a unified voice for members to promote and defend the industry and seek opportunities for promoting the value of UKAST to members and consumers

These terms and conditions are binding on both parties and will be subject to the laws of England should any dispute arise.

UKAST Reviewer Certification-

As part of the  agreement to be certified as a review service member of UKAST the service warrants they will-

a)         Provide open and honest information about all services reviewed 

b)          Respond to any potential subscriber question within 24 hours

c)         Ensure that any comments or user reviews are from legitimate customers and not falsified in order to mis-sell a product or service

d)          Ensure that all reviews are conducted in a fair and unbiased manner

e)        Make a clear statement about sponsored advertisements to its members (i.e. if a tipster has paid for a site to review its service this is made clear)

f)          Pay the current membership subscriptions to UKAST as it becomes due. There are no part-month options available and if the service ceases during the month the fee is non-refundable.

Failure to carry out any of these tasks may result in the removal of the reviewers UKAST certification and membership could be terminated with immediate effect. In the event of any breach of the foregoing the member will have the right to provide UKAST with a written explanation for non-compliance and the Association will assess each case on the facts provided.

For its part, UKAST pledges to carry out duties to help enhance the reputation of the member service and the tipping industry in general. These duties include-

  • Show its members clearly that this review site is a trusted one
  • Keep the member page for the reviewer up to date , making sure that accurate information is provided
  • Provide a UKAST certification badge with unique member number for display on websites and marketing material and make its subscribers aware of your membership once it is made official
  • Consult with appropriate government and other bodies to protect the interests of members
  • Provide a unified voice for members to promote and defend the industry and seek opportunities for promoting the value of UKAST to members and consumers

These terms and conditions are binding on both parties and will be subject to the laws of England should any dispute arise.
